The Dynamics section of Channel Strip provides Expander/Gate, Compressor/Limiter, and Side Chain processing all in one. This section also provides a dynamics graphic display for the Compressor/Limiter and Expander/Gate plug‑ins. The display shows a curve that represents the level of the input signal (on the horizontal x–axis) and the amount of gain reduction applied (on the vertical y–axis). The vertical line represents the threshold.
